Описание:
Started this project in fall of 2024, beginning with disassembly, putting a Cal-Scale headlight platform & Cary "Mars" light on the smokebox front, and drilling out the Cal-Scale Class Lights, & Headlight for SM LED's! Also drilled out the back-up light on the tender for a wired Surface Mount LED.
Then primered all the brass parts, and in fall of 2025 I painted everying with Polyscale Engine Black, and baked the finish on in the oven at low heat(125 degrees) for a couple of hours. Then sprayed the boiler & tender shells with semi-gloss finish, and decalled with Microscale decals from the NKPH&TS store.
DCC & sound is a TCS Wow Steam Decoder V4.5. Speaker is a 20mm RailMaster Hobbies mounted in the tender!
Still a few more details to add yet, such as front Kadee coupler, cab floor, seats & crew figures, deck plate, and coal load in tender!
