Titled ‘It’s a Tide Ad’, this campaign’s product integration was overt and unmistakable. Be it a typical car ad, a funny beer ad, an insurance or even a razor ad, the brand positioned itself seamlessly in every product/service category and in every possible narrative.

With no subtlety at all whatsoever, Tide even sabotaged other Super Bowl ads, including Old Spice’s iconic spot, ‘The Man Your Man Could Smell Like’– with David Harbour stealing the show (as he is used to), reminding us that this too, is a Tide Ad.

With a fresh, undeniable treatment in each frame, a narrative overshadowing all others, and an uncompromising execution, this campaign took the internet by storm upon release. Apart from winning X’s (formerly known as Twitter) #BrandBowl, it garnered an astounding 3.6 billion impressions!
