In the final year of the SNES' reign, Square and Nintendo teamed up once more and gave us something absolutely beautiful. The Super Mario franchise mixed with the elements and mechanics of the Final Fantasy franchise.

The game to me was one of the greatest Mario games to ever grace the Super Nintendo. And forever worth every second playing, especially months before the arrival of the Nintendo 64.

And for this video, let us take back that final star piece from the metallic clutches of King Smithy and repair the Star Road!
