In this video I will be showing how I create a shirt mesh using Blender 7.9 It layers over a full torso so opacities can be used to create translucent or sheer looks.
This video will start with the assumption you already have the IMVU starter files. I will be using my own torso body shape, but you can follow along with the IMVU default or one of your own.

The shirt will be shaped from scratch and the weights transferred over from the torso. I will also be showing how to assign materials, UV unwrap and bake a simple texture for the mesh to be exported to IMVU.
