The proper Reigning Queen of Country Music, is Margo Price. What must a queen be to have such high status, even just from a bunch of YouTubers? Well at Western AF, we have many Queens, and we see those attributes being its attitude, integrity, larger than life, and after a high rise in this genre, always and forever, a community member.

Day of the Americanafest 2023 awards ceremony, Margo invited me to make this video at her home while she was getting ready for the awards. Her song “Change Of Heart” was nominated for SONG OF THE YEAR. You could say that Margo had the perfect opportunity to record that song for our video channel. “No Way,” said Margo. “I got something special.”

Artists more often than not like to keep songs for us to be recorded on our channel. It is a gesture from songwriters has been more apparent to us lately and something to note. They often admit it that they “saved this” for us, and what that feels like is a good trust. ”It Ain't Drunk Driving If You're Riding a Horse” by her friend Steven Knudsen is one of those songs. As brilliant as this is, Margo could’ve given us one of her songs to record, but she decided to do something for someone else. Whether she knows it or not, that’s a lovely thing to do for someone.

What this says about Margo is that she’s a selfless person in a selfish world. She keeps good country spirits like John Prine alive. If being neighborly ain't country, I don't know what is.

And to comment on the name of the song. In case you're curious, riding a horse while intoxicated is "technically" legal in Wyoming. Yeehaw America.
