Forget the NC500? Reindeer try and enter our van in The Cairngorms National Park!

Описание: We arrive in the Cairngorms after spending 2 months traveling around Scotland in our self-converted Ford Transit, La Bamba. After visiting the rugged Isle of Skye we followed the NC500 around Scotland's Northern tip, but now we head inland to the heart of Scotland. The Cairngorm's National park is a huge area of rugged mountains.
On arriving we explore Avimore in the search of a vegan breakfast, before driving off into the hills above Loch Morlich. While parked up here we are visited by a herd of reindeer who surprise us by appearing at the window of our van.
The next day we go foraging before moving on to an amazingly secluded park up, we use the near by stream to wash in the icy waters, visit lots of forests in the local area and visit the Highland Folk Museum.
The end of the week sees us visiting three amazing waterfalls in one day. The falls of Bruar, the falls of Acharn and the Birks of Aberfeldy. We spend that evening in Pitlochry where we enjoy pints, charity shops and get a chippy.
This week sees us reach the bottom of the Cairngorms, but fear not, we will be making a U-turn before re-entering the national park next week on the east of the mountains.
