STGT Results Delayed for 4 Years | Candidates Protest at Shiksha Bhavan, Seek CM’s Intervention

Candidates who appeared for the 2022 Selection Test for Graduate Teachers (STGT) staged a protest at Shiksha Bhavan in Agartala, alleging an inordinate delay of nearly four years in the declaration of examination results.
The agitating aspirants said their careers are in uncertainty as repeated representations to the authorities have failed to get any response. They also expressed resentment over the announcement of fresh STGT recruitment while the 2022 results are still pending.
In the absence of the TRBT chairman, a delegation of candidates met the Controller of Examinations, who informed them that the matter would be communicated to higher authorities. The candidates urged Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha to intervene and ensure early completion of the recruitment process.
