From there he unpacks what it means for Christ to be “in you,” why the New Testament rarely uses the word “anointing” and prefers “in Christ” instead, and why the believer's spirit can never be more righteous, more holy, or more anointed than it already is the moment of new birth.

The teaching moves through Ephesians 2, Romans 8, and Galatians 3 and 4 to show that receiving the Spirit is by grace through faith, not by works — a point he illustrates vividly through the parable of the prodigal son, focusing on the self-righteous elder brother rather than the wayward younger son. He then turns to 1 Corinthians 12, explaining the gifts of the Spirit as a charisma — a free, permanent, once-for-all manifestation given to every believer at salvation for the common good, not something obtained later through a separate “anointing service.”

The session closes with an extended time of ministry drawn from Acts 2, where believers are led into tongues, prophecy, and utterance, followed by prayers for healing and prophetic declarations over the congregation.
