Welcome to another trip report!
On December 16, I flew Allegiant Air from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.
Allegiant Air is a low-cost airline that operates scheduled and charter flights. Allegiant has been surrounded by criticism due to their poor safety record. They have had a significantly higher number of engine failures, smoke/fumes in the cabin, hydraulic system failure, and depressurization than other similar carriers. I have been hesitant to fly them, but the $25 fare (before seat selection & priority boarding) was too good to pass up.
