I love that you are staying up on the newest info. 🙌The article that came out saying that HLA may interfere with Mg uptake - is anecdotal and IMO a poor hypotheis.
There are studies in human and equine models showing that HLA does not interfere with Mg (or other mineral absorption.)
If we are talking about the same recent piece, it says “there is no extensive research directly linking hyaluronic acid to reduced magnesium absorption.”
I feel HLA can indirectly support mineral absorption bc it improves the gut lining, supports the integrity of the gut barrier, and reduces inflammation 👉 all important for magnesium absorption.
Long story short - you have nothing to worry about.
