Just past the small mining town of Waratah is the stunning walk to Philosopher's Falls. Discovered by James Philosopher Smith in 1871, who succeeded in finding tin ore to be mined in the waratah region.
The walk is really beautiful and the waterfall is spectacular, however you'll want to be fit enough to tackle the 210 stairs down to the lookout.
