Some oil-loading operations were suspended in Fujairah Emirate, United Arab Emirates after a drone attack triggered a fire at facilities in the major bunkering hub on March 14. Thick smoke was seen rising above the site as civil defense teams worked to contain the blaze. The disruption comes hours after the United States struck Iranian military targets on Kharg Island oil export terminal, prompting warnings from Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that U.S. interests in the UAE could become targets.
