Описание: Jagar of Uttarakhand: उत्तराखंड के जागर पूजा पद्धति के जरिए स्थानीय देवताओं को मनुष्य के शरीर में बुलाया जाता है। देवता गांव या समुदायों के कष्ट, परेशानियों का कारण बताते हैं।

देवभूमि उत्तराखंड देवताओं, कुल देवता और ग्राम देवताओं की भूमि है। गढ़वाल और कुमाऊं मंडलों में प्रचलित पूजा पद्धतियों में से एक है जागर। जागर के जरिए स्थानीय देवता जैसे गोल्ज्यू, सैम, कलबिष्ट, हरु, भूमिया, चौमू, महासू, नंदा, भूमिया, लाटू आदि को बुलाया जाता है। जागर के जरिए विशेष पूजा अर्चना कर इन्हें मनुष्य के शरीर में बुलाया जाता है।

मान्यताओं के अनुसार जागर के जरिए कुल या ग्राम देवता किसी मुनष्य के शरीर के अंदर अवतरित होकर व्यक्ति, परिवार, गांव या समुदायों के कष्ट, परेशानियों का कारण बताते हैं। यही नहीं, वह कारण के साथ-साथ निवारण भी बताते हैं। इसके अलावा देवता से न्याय की भी उम्मीद की जाती है।  पूर्वजों या कुल देवता जिस व्यक्ति के अंदर आता है उसके लिए विशेष गद्दी लगाई जाती है। जिन्हें भगवान मानकर पूजा जाता है। जागरों की अवधि एक रात से लेकर पांच, ग्यारह, बाईस दिन और छः महीने तक की होती है।

What is Jagar, Know about Jagar:

In the mountains, different villages also have different Ishta Devs, who have authority over that region and the people of that region and this tradition has been going on in the mountains for centuries.

Whether it is about getting justice for someone or getting rid of someone's suffering, to save the village from any calamity, the villagers invoke their favorite deity, which is called Jagar in the local language. Jagar means to awaken the deity. The power of the deities is mentioned by

awakening the deities through songs and traditional musical instruments and then the God descends and solves the problems of the people.
