Here is a part 2 video I made for those that want to learn how to play the Cook Islands ukurere. In this video you can learn to tune your uke in Chord C (instead of waiting for someone who knows how to tune it, you can do it yourself). Learn the 3 main chords (most of us know it as Chords 1, 2 and 3... also learn different ways to play the Chords 1, 2, 3. This is what I call add ons. The rhythm and instrumental is the same all the way through so it is easy for you to follow. I have added an instrumental on the 2nd half of the video so you can practice and jam along to the beat. Some of the basic ways to play your uke so your goal is to learn the chords and make up your own style and get your ukurere singing :)
0:10 - Tune your Uke in "C" chord.
Can use any tuner APP so the keys to tune your uke is:
1st string - G3
2nd - C4
3rd - E4
4th - A3
