Описание: Karin is a small tourist town in the county of Zadar in Croatia. It is divided into Gornji and Donji Karin, only 2 kilometers away from each other, divided by the small river Karišnica. Karin is located on the southern shores of the deep sea bay, which is according to Karin named Karin sea and adjacent to the Novigrad sea. Administratively belongs to the town of Obrovac, which is only about 16 kilometers away, with a population of about 1200 inhabitants. This small town has a rich and long history, as evidenced by the remains of a Roman amphitheater Corinium. Residents of Karin were mainly engaged in traditional activities; in agriculture, cattle breeding and wine production. Today tourism and tourist services are the main activity.

Accommodation for visitors of this area is offered exclusively in private apartments, rooms, and holiday homes. Hosts with their hospitality and courtesy are trying to make each guest vacation pleasant and carefree. The town has a well-maintained beach, and in some parts of the coast form a sludge that is healing mud, which is increasingly used for therapeutic purposes and for the future development of health tourism. In the surrounding area, there are a number of natural sights worth visiting. One of them is the canyon of river Zrmanja, then waterfalls of the Bijela river and Nature Park Velebit.
