Kota Konabalu, Malaysia - Scuba Junkie KK

Описание: We moved from Kuala Lumpur in Peninsular Malaysia to East Malaysia in the city of Kota Kinabalu, known as KK. The highlight of our stay here was scuba diving the KK area including the world-famous KK Marine Park (Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park) which features five amazing islands including Gaya Island and Sapi Island. The marine park is home to beautiful coral reefs, colorful fish, reef sharks, turtles and amazing little critters.

We dove with Scuba Junkie KK, which has friendly and fun dive guides. @carolfarrisbarber took the opportunity to enhance her scuba diving skills to obtain her Advanced Open Water certification.

We're here in this part of Malaysia to ultimately dive around the world famous Sipadan Island. Since we're in the area, it made sense to dive KK, and we're happy we did. Would recommend diving here.

Our 🧭 compass continues to point East as we travel across Sabah to the city of Sandakan, where we'll embark on a 5-day wildlife adventure with River Junkie.
