This Video explains the path established by saint swami ramalinga vallalar 1823 to 1874, which is Samarasa Suddha Sanmarga Sathya Sangam.
He also established SATHYA DHARMA SALAI in 1867 at Vadalur to eradicate hunger. This has been feeding the poor, sick and the hungry twice a day for the past 138 years, thanks to the benevolent sanmarga community.
Samarasa Suddha Sanmarga Satya Sanga, the Society for Pure Truth in Universal self-hood, was established in 1865 by Ramalinga Swamigal.
He was very much against the killing of any beings for food etc & caste system because of the adverse impacts it had on society. Towards that end, he started the "Samarasa Vedha Sanmarga Sangam" in 1865. In 1872 it was renamed "Samarasa Suddha Sanmarga Sathya Sangam", meaning "Society for pure truth in universal self-hood".
Vallalar's wife Dhanakoti told all her relatives that she was lucky to be married to a saint. Thus, we find that the women in the lives of saints made many sacrifices, so that the world might benefit from the wisdom of the sages.
In 1867, Vallalar established Dharmasala at Vadalur as a centre to give hospitality to fatigued travellers, food to the indigent elders and medical aid to patients without resources. He started the Samarasa Suddha Sanmarga Sathya Sangam which means `Society for pure truth in universal self-hood.
In one verse, Vallalar spoke of God as a mountain that is easily held by love. God is a king who gladly enters the hut called Love (Anbu). He is willing to be captured in the net of love. Such a nectar is God, he said.
