The hand feel depends on the printing method, ink coverage, and design thickness.
For DTG printing, the print remains soft and breathable, especially on cotton fabrics. Lighter designs and proper pretreatment result in a natural hand feel that blends well with the fabric.
For UV DTF and 3D UV DTF printing, the print is applied as a transfer layer. Due to the ink and adhesive structure, the finished print has a slightly raised and firmer feel, which is normal and expected, especially for textured or 3D effects.
For embroidery, the texture is naturally raised, providing a structured and premium feel rather than softness.
By optimizing ink layers, resolution, and design layout, the hand feel can be adjusted to balance visual impact and comfort.
