If you have leftover items after you are done packing OCC shoeboxes, why not pack them up in filler bags 😊. In my experience as a volunteer at a Processing Center last year, there are many boxes coming through that need a little extra love ❤️. I hear that donations of filler items are needed and appreciated. You can drop off filler items at same location that you drop off your shoeboxes during collection week. Just make sure you put your items in regular cardboard boxes (not shoeboxes) and write “FILLER” on the box.
