But hiring managers are increasingly shifting toward skills-based hiring meaning they want to see whether you can actually explain the work you’ve done.

Throughout my career, I’ve been in interviews where the interviewer went line-by-line through my resume asking about specific projects.

When someone actually works in tech or data, they can quickly tell whether your explanation matches reality.

That’s why I don’t guide students to memorize talking points or repeat buzzwords from job descriptions.

Instead, we focus on identifying the real analytical work already present in their experience and learning how to clearly explain it.

Because while AI can generate a resume…

it can’t replace real understanding of the work.
