(Back in 2016 YouTube seemed to favour shorter videos, so multi-part videos were quite common. Now, longer videos are expected, and I've wanted to redo this one for quite a while now to make one single video.)

Over 18 years ago I found a photo online of a wooden push toy.
I had been wanting to build something like the traditional “ball in a cage” type of pull toy for my (then) toddler and doing research for inspiration.

I got together with my brother in the summer of 1998 and together we designed and built my interpretation of that toy. This was way before the birth of youtube, and I have no pictures at all of the build process, let alone any video.

I decided to build another one, and this time film it.
