Описание: Govind Bhiku Gaonkar, a rehabilitated farmer from Old Wada in Wadem, Sanguem, who sacrificed his agricultural land for the Salaulim Dam project, is today facing severe hardship due to the non-availability of water on the land allotted to him by the government. The land initially provided as rehabilitation later went under water. Following repeated requests, the government allotted him alternate agricultural land at Naikini village. However, this land lacks even basic water supply facilities, making cultivation impossible.
