UK is currently experiencing an ‘inflation crisis’

“Partly connected to the war in Ukraine, the ongoing effect of COVID,” Mr Cook told Sky News Australia.

“When the banks around the world are hiking interest rates to try and control inflation, then stimulating the economy in a way that’s simply going to feed inflation, means that the government and bank are fighting with each other.”
