Hi, it’s Chris, I’m the local energy advisor in your postcode area. (Er) I understand you are the homeowner up there at the property if that’s correct?


Lovely, OK we have got the right information, (em) so I assume like most homeowners you’ve probably taken advantage of the government scheme where they put in the fiberglass loft insulation up in the lofting area some stage in the last sort of ten to twenty years, that’s correct?

So what we have to do, we carry out a no cost efficiency check, and it’s completely free of charge, it doesn’t cost you anything, (er) what we actually do is we check the lofting area, we see the roof space (er) for any damp or condensation, we look at the current insulation, see the energy efficiency of it, I’m sure you’re aware already that if there’s sort of any mould or any damp up there this would cause more heat loss from your property.
