Delhi & Mumbai police jointly trackdown & prevent suicide; Man undergoes counseling sessions

Описание: The cybercrime unit of Delhi and Mumbai police along with Facebook managed to prevent a man's suicide attempt last Saturday. An official from Facebook reached out to the Delhi police after witnessing the victim's distressing video on Facebook.

The DCP of the crime branch immediately located the victim's address and handed it over to the East Delhi DCP. It was then discovered that the man was in Mumbai and used his wife's Facebook account. Mumbai police then reached the man's location. The cops tracked down the man in Balhayandar and provided help.

Amid the whole debate over police brutality and police taking over the powers of their uniform, the incident comes off as the police are being lauded for their efforts as they saved a man's life.
