The Guangdong Science Center (GDSC) in Guangzhou is officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest science museum. Located on the western end of Guangzhou University City, the massive pavilion is designed to resemble a "scientific aircraft carrier" or a kapok flower when viewed from above. It serves as a major hub for popular science education, featuring over 600 interactive exhibits across 12 permanent halls.
