February 18, 2010 -- Oakland City Attorney John Russo and Police Chief Anthony Batts announce a new tool in the fight against gang violence.
The City Attorney and the Chief talk about a civil lawsuit seeking an injunction against a violent gang responsible for drug sales, robberies and numerous acts of gun violence in North Oakland.
A gang injunction is a court order that restricts the activities of gang members withing a specified area called a "Safety Zone."
