Processing harakeke for pikau (backpacks) & Kete Whiri - with muka ends.
This is the second of two mini videos on the subject. This time we are using a mussell (kutai/kutae/kuku) shell to help with the muka extraction.
It is no tutorial, just a very quick and not comprehensive demonstration of how we do this. There are many other ways, and each weaver has their own preferences.
