Now this Is a story all about how
the church in zurich flipped upside down
and i'm gonna take a minute to, (and pardon the band)
say how (I) Conrad Grebel, changed Switzerland

In Zurich Switzerland born and raised
in study with Zwingli i spent my days
reading the classics in latin and greek
and learning the christian minister speak
Then things got tough in my neighborhood
when Zwingli and his gang got up to no good
They got all messed up and caused a schism
because they discouraged adult baptism
So with my friend Felix we split apart
and traveled the land in a horse drawn cart
our following grew, it was quite meteoric
and we, the anabaptists returned to Zurich.
But once we returned i was met with travail
didn’t baptise my daughter, got slammed into jail.
I escaped but died later (which wasn’t much fun)
but our movement was founded, our great work was done.
