The 4th Global CRVS and Gender Symposium took place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 15–17 October. It brought together key stakeholders, including government representatives, gender experts, international organizations, civil society, and academic institutions, to explore the intersections between gender and CRVS systems, identify key challenges, share best practices, and develop strategies to promote gender-responsive CRVS systems globally.
By fostering cross-sector dialogue, the symposium built a shared understanding of how stronger CRVS systems can advance gender equality and women’s empowerment across the life course.
