Sector-24 Police Station arrested two notorious vehicle thieves; recovered 10 stolen motorcycles, 2 scooters, and illegal weapons from their possession/identification.

Details of the action
On 04.05.2026, with the help of manual intelligence and confidential information, Sector-24 Police Station arrested two notorious vehicle thieves: 1. Aniket alias Ankit, son of Virendra Singh, and 2. Ratan Singh alias Ravi, son of Anand Singh, from T Block, Sector-11, Noida. 10 stolen motorcycles, 2 scooters, and 2 illegal knives were recovered from the possession/identification of the accused.

Brief description of the interrogation-
During interrogation, the accused revealed that they first conduct reconnaissance and, when they find an opportunity, steal motorcycles parked in crowded areas and outside homes in various locations across Delhi, Noida, and the NCR region. They hide the stolen motorcycles and scooters in the woods and bushes in Sector 54, Noida, and later sell them one by one to needy individuals in the market at low prices. They divide the proceeds equally among themselves and use them for their personal expenses. The accused also revealed that they carry illegal knives with them due to fear of being caught while stealing.
