Students gathered inside the campus, staging sit-in protests against what they call an unfair decision. According to them, while fees are being increased drastically, basic facilities such as clean toilets, drinking water, and adequate teaching staff remain unavailable.

Carrying placards and raising slogans, students demanded that the university immediately withdraw the hike.
