These guys have all proven to be ultra successful active investors. So don’t be ashamed to follow their advice and copy what they do. Buy what they buy, sell what they sell. Take the emotion and all the hard work out of it, and just copy the best in business. Such a good strategy and I highly recommend.
How do you copy them? Well each quarter, the funds that these great investors manage submit a document called a 13F. Literally just google 13F berkshire hathaway.

Learn the basic terms

Assets - Things that the company owns that are valuable. E.g. cash in the bank, real estate, tractors, inventory.
Liabilities - Things that the company owes, things that haven’t been paid for yet.
Debt - The most important item of all the liabilities, The money that the company is owing to outsiders.
Equity = Assets - Liabilities = Equity - this is what is left for owners if the company was to shut down today.
Debt to Equity Ratio - How much debt the company has divided by the equity. A number above 1 is not a good sign. It means the business has more debt than the value of the business.
Peter Lynch famously said, “It is very hard for a business to go bankrupt if they don’t have any debt. Some of them have tried, but it is almost impossible to do. Companies go bankrupt because of debt.”
Balance Sheet - the document where you find Assets, Liabilities, Debt, Equity,
Revenue - How much money flows into the business from selling stuff, charging clients, etc.
Expenses - How much money flows out of the business. Paying staff, advertising etc.
Net Profit = Revenue - Expenses. This is what the company made for the year. The bigger the better.
Profit and Loss Statement - The document where Revenue, Expenses and Profit are reported.
P/E Ratio - It is the Current share price / earnings per share. Lower means better value, higher means worse value. Historically the S&P 500 is somewhere between 15-22 P/E.
