Today we had special access at the Cornwall Air Ambulance airbase and had a tour of the hanger and the two AW109SP G-KRNO and the charities AW169 G-CRWL. Just as our visit was coming to an end the Paramedics Thomas Hennessy Jones and Louise Lamble informed me that they were going to depart on a training flight. But not long after they got called out to an emergency. We were sent inside to watch it depart and spoke to the Head of Operations Andrew Evans who is an ex RAF navigator, survival instructor and air operations officer.
