Yoshitaka Amano is perhaps the most famous character designer in games and a signature part of many childhoods. When playing through those early Final Fantasy games, you weren’t necessarily thinking about the pixels on screen, but instead the elegant fantasy world portrayed by the cover and manual.
OTAQUEST is an initiative dedicated to introducing Japanese pop- and sub-culture to English-speaking fans, direct from Tokyo, Japan.
