A wonderful historical ride in SoCal, that offers Intro, 35 mile, 65 mile and 100 mile distances. This year the trail was a little different and maybe “easier” ? as for the lack of enough vets they had to re route almost all the loops back to base camp. I feel that made everything a little more pleasant and less stressful. The trails were a mix of sandy and some rocks. Uphills and downhills and flats. There was a great combination of technical and faster. The weather was great, water every 3/4 miles. Just an enjoyable ride and Mary and I placed 16 and 17.
