Mysore Pak Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup Chickpea flour (Besan), sifted
1 ¼ cup Ghee (we used solidified)
1 ¼ cup Canola Oil (Use any unflavored cooking oil,)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
Method:
Take a pan (non-stick preferably) heat on medium. Add sugar and water, boil to 1 string consistency.
Add sifted chickpea flour in batches and mix without any lumps.
Take another pan heat ghee and oil together until hot.
Add ghee/oil mixture to the chickpea flour mixture in batches and cook until it becomes slightly golden brown.
Grease a dish with ghee or oil and remove the mixture to it.
Let it cool a bit and run through the knife.
Cool completely before removing the pieces.
Serve at room temperature.
Enjoy yummy delicious Mysore pak.
