Once you learn the basics of juggling, you may possibly learn 5 ball juggling within a few months or a few years, maybe longer... I had only been juggling for less than a year when I made this video, so it is quite possible to learn 5 balls in a few months if you practice a lot and you happen to be a fast learner...

Step 1 - Learn a solid 3 ball cascade and 4 ball fountain!

Step 5 - Learn to hold/throw/catch 3 balls from one hand. There is more than one way to do this. Experiment and find which way works best for you.

Step 6 - The 5 ball flash! Practice this until you puke. Focus on clean throws/catches and good posture and timing. It may take several weeks to be able to do this consistently.

Step 7 - Keep the pattern going progressively longer. Try 6 catches. Then 7 catches. Then 10 catches. Then 20 catches. Get the idea? It might take several months before you can reach 50 or 100 catches, do not get discouraged! Be patient, practice, and have fun!
