Today I attempted to travel up to Holywell Park in the Blue Mountains to see the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa… but I never made it. A massive landslide took away an entire section of the hill, completely blocking the roadway.
From fallen trees to washed-out corners, this part of the mountain range was hit hard — and even though repairs are underway, the road is still extremely dangerous and barely passable.
In this vlog, I take you along the journey as far as I could go, showing you the damage, the landslides, and how nature reshaped the mountains after the hurricane.
