In today’s tech-driven world, smartphones and internet access are becoming common even among school and college students. While parents often give mobile phones to keep kids engaged and safe, many are unaware of what their children are actually doing online.

Excessive or unmonitored use can expose children to online scams, cybercrime, and harmful content. Out of India’s 900 million internet users, 30 million are students, highlighting the importance of awareness.

To address this, UNICEF and Odisha Police recently organized a workshop to educate students and parents about safe mobile and internet use.

This video guides parents on how to monitor, educate, and safeguard their children while allowing them to benefit from technology responsibly.
