Popcorn Kernel - 1 Cup (leveled)
Sugar - ½ cup (leveled)
Veg. Oil - 1tbsp
Butter/Margarine - ½tbsp
Mix milk flavour - ½tsp
Industrial Vanilla Flavour - ⅛tsp or a dash

⭐ WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO START-UP YOUR POPCORN BUSINESS 👇
📍Popcorn Machine - Locally fabricated or foreign
📍 3kg/6kg gas cylinder - ₦12,000/₦18,000
📍Hose - 3yards
📍Gas lighter (if you're using a gas generating popcorn machine)
📍A table or wheel to place your popcorn machine on
📍Popcorn Kernel - (Bag ₦48,000, ½bag ₦24,000, Derica ₦2,000, Yellow paint bucket ₦10,000 )
📍Sugar - (Bag ₦62,000, ½bag ₦31, 000, 1 Cup ₦1,200, Yellow paint bucket ₦6,000 )
📍Mix milk flavour (Carton ₦2,200; ½ Cartoon ₦1,100; A sachet ₦150. Some vendors also sell per dozen. Some mix milk brands are cheaper too)
📍Industrial vanilla flavour - Small bottle ₦500
📍Vegetable oil - 1 bottle ₦1,250
📍Self adhesive nylons - ( I will advise you to source for a vendor that makes/produce. Their prices are usually lesserr compared to when you buy from people who sell in the market.)
📍Labels - (Prices depends on the size and quantity. The higher the quantity the lesser the price. If you don't have a design yet, they can design for you for as little as ₦500. If you're in Lagos and on the mainland, I could drop my plug's contact. Alternatively you can check Mushin market or Agege Market for both printing and nylons vendors).
⭐ Butter/Margarine - ₦2,000/kg; ₦650/sachet (I use Napa)
⭐ Black waste bin bags - ₦700/₦1,009
⭐ Mini Hair straightner - ₦2,200 (Alternatively you can use stapler and pins to secure the self adhesive nylons)

⭐All measurements used are with baker's standards cups and measuring spoons.

⭐ Make sure your pot in your popcorn machine is hot before adding your popcorn kernels
⭐Always stir to prevent your kernels from burning
⭐ Pop on medium heat. If too low popcorn will take forever to pop. If too high they'll come out burnt and it will reflect on the taste.
⭐A lot of people have allergies, hence keep your flavoring very simple. Butter in my recipe gives additional flavour
⭐After popping your first batch of popcorn, your pot is still hot. Grease with oil, add butter and repeat recipe immediately.
⭐Always remember to switch off the regulator from the pot first before pouring out the popcorns from the pot
⭐ Once you have popped enough, transfer them to your black waste bin bags and tie well. This will remain crunchy and fresh for as long as possible.
⭐ You will need a stapler or hair straightner or a sealing machine to secure your self adhesive nylons as these nylons sometimes do not stick well or hold its shape for long
⭐To sell to supermarket you will need a NAFDAC registration number. I have a series on that on my recipe channel ‪@sussycakesrecipes‬ for you to check out.
⭐ Edits: MY MOM CORRECTED ME. She said the ₦50 big packs are made up of 12 individual packs sold at ₦450 for wholesalers. Not 10 individual packs like I said in the video. While the ₦100 big pack have 10 individual packs sold at ₦950 for wholesalers.
