Описание: Attorney Bill Goodman talks about a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Michigan's Emergency Manager law, which allows the appointment of an Emergency Manager who has the authority to discharge local elected officials and take full control of the government entity that has been deemed insolvent. Mr. Goodman is the Board President of the Sugar Law Center in Detroit, a principal in the firm of Goodman and Hurwitz, PC, and the former director of the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York. The event was hosted by Occupy Lansing on November 13, 2011.
