TIM LYONS - RIP : posted in memory of a great Irish traditional singer and musician, who sadly departed from us recently.
Tim toured with "De Dannan" in 1978, coming to Scotland. He sang this humourous song as part of that concert. [ I'm sure no disrespect was meant to Mullingar, his tongue was firmly in cheek.]
Tim also toured the Scottish folk clubs several times in the 1980s as part of a duo with flute-player and singer Fintan Vallely.
