I purchased a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a 2.5L Inline 4 cylinder, standard transmission! It as around 204,000 miles on it and is intended to be my son's vehicle when he turns 16 in ~6 months. This baby needs a lot of work and I'm sure there are bound to be some surprises as we work our way through it.
This video is an introduction to our new Jeep - its sights, sounds, and thoughts on what lies ahead.
While my first car was a standard transmission 1989 Buick Skyhawk, my only Jeep experience is my 2011 3.8L V6 Wrangler JKU. If you have any thoughts, comments, suggestions, things to be wary of, I'd love to hear them.
I hope to document a lot of the work on this TJ in my "Project TJ" playlist. Be sure to subscribe to my channel to follow along with this new adventure!
