Описание: I have loved this song for as long as I can remember, and my memory (if I do say so myself) is pretty sharp... So that's quite a long time!
Some songs have the ability to move you and get under skin regardless of your age,race,gender or otherwise.
When I was very very young, I had a little wind up toy box with a little yellow bird perched on top. I would wind it up and it would play the most beautifully tragic tune. I was just 3 years old and it made me weep with a sadness I didn't even recognise, yet somehow the emotion was always there.It was there before I understood the definition of the word...
As a teenager 'Fall At Your Feet' stirred an emotion in me that I didn't understand. Yet It didn't matter. The feeling was strong and real and that's all that was important. As I've grown with the song I've come to interpret it in a way that reflects my growth from child to adult and my experience of love and life...Does that mean it's any clearer to me now? Probably not...That's what makes great songs great! They capture raw emotion, thus enabling you to feel before you think. This song does that for me and as far as I'm concerned we could all do with more of that in our lives.
Anyway, this is how the song comes out when it goes through my head, draws on my thoughts and experiences and comes out my mouth. I hope you enjoy it. For a long time I have been reticent to do this cover, being slightly afraid it might find it's way back to it's creator and he say "Well that was a shit Danielle " hahaha. But hey it is what it is and it's time to start sharing and get over myself. Thank you Neil Finn for creating music that has shaped me and many others as musicians and people of the world. You rock!
