Описание: On this day in 1945, the Battle of the Bulge ended. Here’s Movietone’s report on the reduction of the Rundstedt salient a few days before.

Marauders of the US 9th Air Force have been assisting with the reduction of the Rundstedt salient, they have attacked supply centres at Wittlichm and a railway bridge over the Moselle. The "bulge" is shrinking fast, and if the Allies have not yet succeeded in winning a sensational victory, they have driven the Hun back.
