so today I’m cooking Sarson Ka Saag with Bathua for my Punjabi husband.
Simple, home-style, cooked with less oil. Let’s start.
This is everyday Punjabi home cooking, made in a simple and comfortable way.
I use sarson, bathua and a little palak, cook with very little ghee,
and share my step-by-step method for making saag that is full of flavour and easy to eat.
I believe traditional Indian food is good,
but daily excess oil and heavy cooking can make food feel too heavy —
especially for families who eat home food every day.
