A POV walkthrough of the steps leading from the Fern Pit Cafe on the Pentire, Newquay, down to the River Gannel / Crantock Beach.
During high tide, you can access the other side via a small boat which charges £1.80 per person. Well worth it for a look over the other side of the Gannel into the little village of Crantock where find a shop and a couple of cafes and pubs (including The Old Albion, a personal fav)
