The National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP, Desfile Nacional Puertorriqueño) is the largest demonstration of cultural pride in the nation 🇵🇷

National Puerto Rican Day Parade (Desfile Nacional Puertorriqueño) takes place from 44th Street to 79th Street along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, in honor of the 3.2 million inhabitants of Puerto Rico and over 5.8 million people residing in the United States.

The 69th Annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Manhattan and is one of the largest cultural celebrations in the United States, attracting more than one million spectators and participants each year. The parade celebrates Puerto Rican culture, heritage, achievements, and the contributions of Puerto Ricans throughout the United States and around the world.

Grand Marshal: global reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee.
Parade Queen: Dayanara Torres, renowned television host, actress, and Miss Universe 1993.

Parade King: acclaimed actor and musician Anthony Ramos.

Lifetime achievement awards:
Public servant and congresswoman Nydia Velázquez, whose leadership and advocacy have left a lasting mark on Puerto Rican and Latino communities in the United States.
Trumpeter, composer, bandleader, educator, and Latin GRAMMY winner Charlie Sepúlveda.

2026 Theme is "Somos Más Que 100x35" (We Are More Than 100x35). The theme highlights the idea that Puerto Rico's influence extends far beyond its geographic dimensions of approximately 100 miles by 35 miles. The phrase gained worldwide attention after Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny referenced it while accepting Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards. The theme celebrates Puerto Rican excellence in music, arts, literature, science, sports, military service, and community leadership.
