Ma Kalaratri is associated with the energy of the night and it is said that she takes care of her devotees in the dark energy and is the one who vanquishes all evil spirits, and demons. Her visage often invokes fear but it is said that the devotees who can love the image of Ma Kalaratri are blessed with the highest level of fearlessness.
In tantra yoga, she is associated with Sahasrara or the Crown Chakra, and it is said that worshipping to Kalaratri Devi brings a devotee many nidhis and siddhis (Divine powers and skills). She is also called as Shubhankari, the one who brings auspicious offerings to her devotees.
